God doesn't hate you - and He doesn't hate anyone else, either.
Sometimes, it can feel that God hates us because He starts sending us some massive tests, or challenges to deal with.
These aren't punishments: they are soul corrections.
All of us on planet earth are down here because we have a job to do, and because we have stuff we need to fix in ourselves. For one person, it might be a really bad temper. For someone else, it could be the trait of stinginess. For still another person, they have to work on learning to judge other people (and usually also themselves!) more favorably, and to see the good in people.
God will then give each of us tailored circumstances and situations that have been precision-made to:
a) challenge us in the areas we need to fix and
b) help us to bring out the best in ourselves.
But this only works if we know that God doesn't hate us, and loves us unconditionally, and we understand that our difficulties in life are just a test, and not a measurement of God's love for us.
To put it another way, if you get stuck believing that this world is all there is, then it would make sense to think that God should make this world as pleasant, calm and enjoyable as possible for everyone.
BUT, if you believe that this world is actually just a spiritual training ground, and is preparing the eternal part of you, called your soul, for the REAL deal in some other location (ie, the spiritual realms) then that changes the whole picture.
In Judaism, it's taught that if someone has it easy for 40 days, they should start to worry. Why? Because it could be that God gave up on them, and that's why they aren't being sent any more challenges or tests.
If you look around, most of the people enjoying the 'good life' down here are usually pretty immoral, while a lot of the people going through big challenges are often pretty decent types.
If this world is all there is, it makes no sense. But if you can accept that there is work to do, and spiritual things to be fixed down here, it suddenly makes a lot more sense.
So God doesn't hate you, God forbid. He's definitely testing you - as He is most people - but that's just in order to bring the best out in you, spiritually-speaking, and also to get you closer to Him, because we can't pass the huge challenges every single one of us has to face if we're not holding God's hand in some way.
